Garmendia comes equipped with years of experience in the industry, having worked in nearly every capacity in the memory care industry. He is a certified nurse’s assistant, activities aide, a qualified memory care professional, a life safety specialist, environmental services director, and administrative assistant. He is also a holder of a Health Facility Administrator’s license and has served in a number of executive positions in memory care facilities.

In his new role at Heritage Point, Garmendia will provide assistance to residents, develop and maintain policies meant to promote quality care, review all the new hires to ensure that only the best and most qualified staff join the team while also ensuring they receive adequate training, serve as liaison between patients and their families, and ensure that the organization meets all the standards required at the federal, state, and local level.
