Frank Betz Associates Announce New Farmhouse Plan

Kennesaw, Georgia-based house designer, Frank Betz Associates, is pleased to announce a new farmhouse plan for builders and individuals called Hemlock Falls. This new addition is yet another in a long line of thousands of house plans the company already offers.

In addition to the Hemlock Falls design, the company offers a wide variety of other farmhouse plans, which can be viewed on their website at https://www.frankbetzhouseplans.com/house-plans/Farmhouse-Plans. The company has noted that builders and individuals are looking for the "Modern Farmhouse" style of houses, which features a clean, white color palate and simple lines. It's a design that according to professionals isn't going out of style anytime soon. According to one designer, "The Modern Farmhouse is a classic design. Certain types of styles are eternal and this is one of them. There's something about a farmhouse design that screams classic Americana."

As the company's website explains, the Farmhouse plan has European roots, and the American farmhouse style has stemmed from various architectural styles such as Colonial, Greek Revival, Victorian, and Cape Cod, among others. The company further states, "The farmhouse style is defined by mostly clapboard sided structures with steep roofs, wide porches, dormers and classic symmetry of doors and windows." A representative for Frank Betz Associates says, "With the new Hemlock Falls design, the classic farmhouse style is apparent, we just added elements to enhance the characteristics of the house."

Adding the Hemlock Falls design further demonstrates the company's constantly growing number of house plans they are offering and increases the range of their portfolio. The company is very excited about the look of this new design. The representative says about the exterior of the design, "A fieldstone water table stabilizes the base of the exterior and helps provide verticality, along with board and batten siding and a steeply pitched roof. A timber gable identifies the main entry point and welcomes all who wish to go inside."

Asked about the importance of the exterior of a house, the representative says, "It's very important - a very important aspect to homebuyers is the visual aesthetic of the exterior. It is the first thing people notice when they arrive at a home. Hemlock Falls, as is with farmhouse styles in general, offers very warm visuals and just screams, 'welcome home'!"

The inside of the design features a vaulted family room on the main level with timber beam accents and a fireplace. An open kitchen opens up to the family room across a large island. "This is sure to be everyone's favorite gathering place," says the representative. "Modern homebuyers are looking for open concept kitchen/family room combinations. Buyers do not want to feel closed in, or separated from their guests. The Hemlock Falls design perfectly suits the needs of this type of home living environment."

The design also features a flex room that can be used for a variety of functions. The master bedroom is located separately from the other bedrooms, and the master bath is fully appointed and features his and hers closets. The two additional bedrooms share a hall bath that is located between the rooms. The out of doors are easily accessible from the covered porch and outdoor dining room with its built-in grill. The upper level provides additional square footage with an optional bonus room as well as another bedroom and bathroom.

"We are very excited about Hemlock Falls," says the company's representative. "We believe that our customers will appreciate this unique take on a classic design - whether you are builder or an individual. This design is a great example of what Frank Betz Associates constantly strives to bring to our customers - uniqueness, creativity, practicality, and durability."

The company also offers a wide variety of craftsman style house plans, which can be viewed on their website at https://www.frankbetzhouseplans.com/house-plans/Craftsman-Style-House-Plans. As explained by the company, Craftsman style homes are inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement that emerged from 1898 to 1925. The style of traditional craftsman-style designs includes large front porches, grand front doors opening into the living room, battered columns on masonry pedestals, cornice brackets, and decorative sidings. The company states, "Frank Betz Associates, Inc. Craftsman home plan designs were inspired by ... simplicity and natural beauty while incorporating modern amenities."

The company has stated that they are committed to their customers and offer a wide variety of choices. "We are all about giving our customers choices in designs," says the company's representative. "Everyone has different tastes and desires. What we want is to help our customers get inspired and excited about what it is that they are passionate about."
