Packaged foods company Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ: KHC) will be reporting results this Wednesday before market open. Here’s what you need to know.

Kraft Heinz beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 1.2% last quarter, reporting revenues of $6.35 billion, down 1.9% year on year. It was a strong quarter for the company, with a solid beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates and a decent beat of analysts’ gross margin estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Kraft Heinz’s revenue to decline 1.9% year on year to $6.26 billion, in line with the 2.8% decrease it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.58 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings.

Looking at Kraft Heinz’s peers in the shelf-stable food segment, some have already reported their Q3 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. Lamb Weston posted flat year-on-year revenue, beating analysts’ expectations by 2.6%, and Conagra reported a revenue decline of 5.8%, topping estimates by 0.7%. Lamb Weston traded up 11.4% following the results while Conagra was also up 5%.

While some of the shelf-stable food stocks have shown solid performance in this choppy environment, the group has generally underperformed, with share prices down 2.4% on average over the last month. Kraft Heinz’s stock price was unchanged during the same time and is heading into earnings with an average analyst price target of $29.03 (compared to the current share price of $25.61).
