Meet the New Directors
Lexann McPhoy
A dynamic serial entrepreneur, McPhoy leads multiple ventures, including Lexann’s Nail Creations, Women’s Haven®️ Guyana, and NSI Nails Guyana. As the newly elected Director of Outreach, Events, and Fundraising, McPhoy will leverage her passion for creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs. She is set to spearhead impactful initiatives and events that will elevate WCCIG’s visibility while building a strong financial foundation for its programs.
Shevion Sears
A seasoned Crisis Communications Executive and the head of Sears Consultancy Inc., Sears assumes the role of Senior Director of Membership. With over 20 years of experience in capacity building, she brings a wealth of knowledge in diversity and inclusion. Sears will focus on growing WCCIG’s membership base, ensuring more women have access to critical resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to thrive in Guyana’s rapidly evolving economy.
Carlyne Stewart
Stewart, the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) at Clarke’s Productions Inc., has extensive expertise in customer service enhancement and organizational leadership. Known for her commitment to mental health advocacy, she led Clarke’s Productions’ “Men’s Mental Health” program to address stigma and foster open dialogue. As WCCIG’s Secretary, Stewart will focus on corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the Chamber’s operational excellence.
