Led by the company’s executive director, Karine Charlemagne (an international political economist, urban engineer, and scientist) Chez Les Mannequins again designates itself as a champion of fashion for moral awareness and social justice.

Chez Les Mannequins Unveils Global Ethical Fashion Showcase at Paris Fashion Week

Chez Les Mannequins, the international creative agency known for spotlighting ethical brands, produced a landmark runway show during Paris Fashion Week. The event featured global designers committed to sustainability and social responsibility and highlighted the farewell collection of a major French fashion house’s next Creative Director. This highly anticipated show marks a major moment for both the major French fashion house and the evolving conversation around ethical fashion.

For Chez Les Mannequins, this runway event is more than just a showcase of cutting-edge designs. It is an opportunity to amplify the voices of ethical brands from around the world, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to promoting fashion that has a positive impact.

A New Chapter for a Major French Fashion House and Ethical Fashion

A major French fashion house’s soon to be Creative Director, presents his final collection under his personal brand’s name. This farewell moment is expected to be a defining moment of Paris Fashion Week, drawing global attention from fashion insiders and enthusiasts alike.

As the major French fashion house transitions to new leadership, the runway show organized by Chez Les Mannequins will blend high fashion with meaningful messages about sustainability and ethical design. Designers from cities such as Tokyo, Lagos, Australia, Albania, New York, and more will showcase collections that emphasize not just aesthetics, but also a profound commitment to environmental stewardship, cultural inclusivity, and social advocacy.

"Fashion is more than beauty and clothes—fashion is an opportunity to advocate for ethics, human rights, international development, poverty alleviation, and all realms of positive change. Throughout history fashion has influenced society negatively; facilitating environmental hazards, poor working conditions, exploitation of vulnerable regions and groups, drug abuse, and mental illness alike. The time has come to promote what advances society as opposed to what sends mankind on a downward spiral,” says Karine Charlemagne. "Chez Les Mannequins provides a platform to designers who are using fashion to make the world a better place."

Global Designers Highlight Positive Impact

The runway show brought together a diverse group of designers. From eco-friendly textiles to fair labor practices and cultural storytelling, these designers are redefining the boundaries of fashion.

A brand from Tokyo, Moa by Cheerful Mama, pays homage to her heritage presenting traditional Japanese garments, with vibrant colors, and fun shapes. Designed with the modern woman in mind, the collection combined demure silhouettes with vibrant color palettes on cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, evening gowns, and majestic ball gowns.”

A Harvard graduate working as a Disaster Medicine Specialist, Rajeev Fernando MD, presents a collection where 100% of proceeds are donated to victims of war and disasters world-wide. Dr. Rajeev Fernando combines fashion with his passion for helping those in need to raise awareness for women's health and refugee support. He is proving that fashion can be a force for social good.

An Albanian-American designer, Julinda Berushi, blends edge with elegance, designing pieces demonstrating her skills and craftsmanship as a designer and seamstress. Drawing from her Albanian heritage, each of JBerushi's designs was strong and creative, receiving wide acclaim from the attendants of her show.

Remember the name Daniel Alexander, for this is a man known for avant-garde designs that wed sophistication with a bit of edge. This season, DA by Daniel Alexander, makes a dress LIVE on the runway in his farewell show to his personal brand.
