Dr. Mort Orman, M.D., who founded National Stress Awareness Month in 1992, released a new anger elimination guide for parents today that he is making available to the general public for free during the entire month of April.

According to Dr. Orman, this short downloadable guide titled “The Best Anger Elimination Method You Can Find” can benefit any parent who is interested in reducing stress, controlling their angry reactions, and improving their relationships with their life partners and children.

“We all know that anger is a huge problem in our society today and all signs point to it getting even worse,” says Dr. Orman. “We also know that anger can damage our health, cause us to get divorced, and create long-term emotional problems for our kids.”

According to Dr. Orman, we have done a poor job of educating our citizens about how anger occurs for human beings and how we can take control of our anger by improving our knowledge of its underlying internal causes.

This year marks is the 32nd year that April has been designated National Stress Awareness Month (http://stressawarenessmonth.com). The goal is to stimulate a national, cooperative effort to inform people about the dangers of anger and stress, successful coping strategies, and harmful misconceptions about anger and stress that are prevalent in our society. During this annual 30-day period, stress experts, health professionals and other interested parties are encouraged to distribute educational materials and hold educational events to raise public awareness about anger and stress and what can be done to relieve them.

Dr. Orman is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who is the author of more than 23 books on subjects related to anger and stress elimination.
