Renowned custom designer and special effects artist Tonya Ridenour Nelson and celebrated specialty costume designer and special FX artist Wendy Polutanovich are set to make a spectacular appearance at Comic-Con 2024 in San Diego. Nelson, known for her exceptional work on cult classics such as "Army of Darkness," the "IT" miniseries, and "Gremlins 2," will be showcasing her talent alongside Polutanovich, whose impressive portfolio includes "The Addams Family," "Armageddon," and "Jumanji (1995)." Together, they will share their expertise with fans and industry professionals from July 25th to July 28th at the San Diego Convention Center.
Hailing from Santa Clarita, CA, Tonya Ridenour Nelson runs the bespoke costume and special effects company, No Strings Attached, acclaimed for creating stunning and innovative costumes that have captivated audiences worldwide. Polutanovich’s ability to blend costume design with special effects seamlessly creates immersive cinematic experiences that resonate with audiences.
