LENOIR CITY, TENNESSEE - MARCH 26th, 2025 - The team at WindRiver Living is thrilled to announce that they’ve broken ground on a brand new clubhouse that is expected to open to members of its lakefront golf community beginning in Summer 2026.
The WindRiver Living development offers amenities for everyone, including a marina along the stunning shores of Tellico Lake; world-class dining at Citico’s Restaurant; a pool and sports complex; walking and biking trails, and more. Residents can enjoy events and leisurely strolls at Brightwater Park, which features park benches, and event lawn, and six waterfront acres for all to enjoy.
Daily events offer social outings, fitness, and fun for all. For instance, the Spring 2025 calendar of events for the WindRiver Living community includes pickleball, member fitness classes, ladies golf events, a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, and much more. With an emphasis on community, WindRiver Living continues to forge exciting new features with the upcoming debut of its Clubhouse.
Ground was officially broken on the first-in-class 25,000 square foot facility in October 2024 with a crowd of nearly 200 members, staff, and special guests. WindRiver Living has contracted lead architects Kuo Diedrich Chi (KDC), general contractor Johnson & Galyon Construction (J&G), landscape and site planners Wood and Partners (WPi), and hospitality and interior designer Blount Design Group to spearhead this exciting new project.
The Clubhouse will feature stunning mountain and lake views from its indoor and outdoor spaces, including dining areas, bars, a rooftop terrace, and more. Guests will enjoy a leading edge wellness center, spa, and group fitness studios, as well as locker rooms and a golf pro shop. A party barn will offer the perfect ambiance for rustic-inspired events and celebrations.

The Clubhouse is part of the first phase of an overarching project, the Clubhouse Village. The Clubhouse Village will encompass the open space surrounding the Pro Shop adjacent to the golf course and driving range and will include the Clubhouse, member social spaces, food and beverage dining locations, fitness areas, a member lounge, and much more.
