This year’s Local Business Person of the Year, 2024 award for Great Neck, New York has been awarded to Steve Kent of Steve Kent Financial Services. The award is the result of the annual contest sponsored by Alignable.com where over 8 million businesses can participate. Members on Alignable’s business platform vote freely for those they feel go above and beyond normal in terms of service, rapport, business acumen and other factors.

People across Alignable vote for those who have helped them in various forms over the past year, and I ranked 34th out of 8.7 million people,” said Steve Kent, CEO of Steve Kent Financial Services.
When asked how he could defeat so many others in the heavily contested Long Island area in the state of New York, Kent replied, “The real value and differentiators are that I patiently listen to what is told to me, ask follow-up questions to clarify concerns, act as a broker to provide solutions from many different sources that meet the needs both short and long term, and explain the solutions in a way that can be understood.”
