CMD+CTRL Security, a leader in software security training, has been recognized with five awards from three leading cybersecurity industry organizations in early 2025. The company was honored for being an innovative leader in security training, and its ground-breaking, hands-on cyber range training platform was lauded as the best in cybersecurity training.
This marks the second year in a row that the CMD+CTRL Base Camp training platform has been recognized by the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, the Global Infosec Awards, and the Fortress Cybersecurity Awards. These are the first award wins for CMD+CTRL Security since its spin-off from Security Innovation in July of 2024.
In March, the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards named CMD+CTRL Security “Best Cybersecurity Education Provider,” and the CMD+CTRL cyber range suite was recognized among the best for “Cybersecurity Training.” For 10 years, the annual Cybersecurity Excellence Awards have honored companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and leadership in information security.
At RSA 2025, the company earned two Global Infosec Awards from Cyber Defense Magazine, the industry’s leading digital information security magazine. CMD+CTRL Security received the “Market Innovator” award for cybersecurity training and the “Hot Company in Secure Coding: Developer Upskilling” award.

Varying in difficulty from basic to advanced, 11 authentic cyber ranges offer real applications, servers, traffic, technologies, and vulnerabilities spanning application, platform, and business logic flaws. The ranges are complemented by 250 online courses and 150+ hands-on learning labs to create a comprehensive learning experience.
