Asbury Carbons Signs Intent to Acquire Graphit Kropfmühl GmbH (“GK“)

Asbury Carbons, a global leader in carbon-based solutions, is pleased to announce the signing of a definitive contract to acquire Graphit Kropfmühl GmbH (“GK“) from AMG. Asbury Carbons is a portfolio company of Mill Rock Capital.

GK, headquartered in Kropfmühl, Germany, operates its own mine at its headquarters, holds majority stakes in graphite mines in Sri Lanka, and has a large processing plant in China. Asbury Carbons will acquire all GK operations from AMG with a total of around 350 employees.

The sale of GK to Asbury Carbons remains subject to the approval of the relevant authorities. The transaction is expected to close by year end 2025. The signing of the purchase agreement took place on October 10, 2025.
