Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum Among Team Providing Extensive Coverage for “FOX News Democracy 2024”
FOX News Media will present extensive live coverage of the CNN presidential debate between candidates President Joe Biden (D) and former President Donald Trump (R) on Thursday, June 27th in Atlanta, Georgia. Special programming will be available across all of FOX News Media’s key platforms, including FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio and FOX Nation.
At 7 PM/ET, FNC will kick off debate preview coverage with an early edition of Jesse Watters Primetime followed by FOX News Democracy 2024 at 8 PM/ET with chief political anchor Special Report’s Bret Baier, anchor and executive editor of The Story Martha MacCallum, co-anchor of America’s Newsroom and co-host of The Five Dana Perino, co-host of The Five and host of Jesse Watters Primetime Jesse Watters in New York as well as Sean Hannity from the debate’s spin room in Atlanta. The hosts will be joined by FNC senior political analyst Brit Hume and contributors Kellyanne Conway, Richard Fowler and Karl Rove. Additionally, congressional correspondent Aishah Hasnie will be contributing to the special live from the post-debate spin room, while senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy will provide coverage from the White House and senior congressional correspondent Chad Pergram will take a historical look back at the Commission on Presidential Debates and how it was eliminated from the process.
From 9-11 PM/ET, FNC will present FOX News Democracy 2024: CNN Presidential Debate, featuring the simulcast of CNN’s presidential debate while FBN will simulcast FNC. FOX News Sunday’s Shannon Bream will anchor coverage of the debate on the FOX Network which will also simulcast the CNN debate.
After the debate, Hannity will host the 11 PM/ET hour live on FNC from the spin room in Atlanta to break down the event and the public’s reaction followed by FOX News @ Night anchored by Trace Gallagher from 12-1 AM/ET. On Friday, June 28th, the FOX & Friends franchise will be up an hour earlier beginning with FOX & Friends FIRST at 4 AM/ET and FOX & Friends from 5-9 AM/ET.
Additionally, FOX News Digital will feature live blogs as well as the latest news on all facets leading up to, during and after the debate. From 8:30-11 PM/ET, FOXNews.com will livestream coverage of the debate with the FOX Broadcast feed of the CNN simulcast. All content will be available on desktop devices, tablets and the FOX News Mobile App. Viewers can also follow all developments from the network and its programs on social media across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
FOX News Audio will also offer a live simulcast of FNC to FOX News Radio affiliates with coverage beginning at 8:55 PM/ET and will also provide an hour of post-debate coverage with reporting and analysis, hosted by FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern and Jessica Rosenthal. The Brian Kilmeade Show, FOX Across America and The Guy Benson Show will discuss highlights of the debate with special guests and commentators weighing in on the event. The FOX News Rundown Podcast will provide listeners with a debate preview on the Rundown: Evening Edition and will deliver the latest reaction the next morning on the flagship broadcast. The Bret Baier Podcast, Perino on Politics and The Untold Story with Martha MacCallum will all provide debate centric offerings as President Biden and former President Trump make their cases to the nation.
FOX Nation will also feature a stream of FOX Network’s coverage helmed by Bream. FOX & Friends Weekend co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy will provide pre and post-debate analysis with a guest panel including FNC contributor Charlie Hurt, DeKalb Republican Party Chairman Marci McCarthy and pollster Matt Towery.
