Generational Equity Advises R&F Industries in its Sale to Candler Industries

Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client R&F Industries, Inc. to Candler Industries, Inc. The transaction closed December 7, 2023.

R&F Industries, Inc. (R&F), located in Luling, Texas, is dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and marketing of specialty chemicals for the drilling and mining industries. Established since 1990 in the Houston and San Antonio, Texas areas, the Company has continually developed products that increase efficiency and lower production costs in large scale markets.

R&F’s niche is in custom blends of specialty oilfield chemicals and lubricants for specific customer requests or applications. In recent years its largest volume products have been its proprietary clay control/clay suppressant blends, lubricants, and scale inhibitors. Other products include a range of other additives and solvents.

Generational Equity Executive Managing Director of M&A – Central Region, Michael Goss, and his team led by Vice President, M&A, Jacob Mangalath successfully closed the deal. Executive Managing Director - North America, Edward G. Weber established the initial relationship with R&F.
