Intero Welcomes Catherine Ballesta as Vice President & Managing Officer of the Carmel & Pacific Grove Locations

New Leadership Brings A Wealth of Real Estate Knowledge Including Residential, Commercial and New Home Development.

Intero, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate and wholly owned subsidiary of HomeServices of America, Inc., is proud to announce the hiring of Catherine Ballesta as the Vice President and Managing Officer of the Carmel and Pacific Grove offices.

Catherine, a 27-year real estate veteran, is a Monterey Bay Area native with deep roots and connections. She obtained her real estate license in 1994 and has held many sales positions over the years. Most recently, Catherine was with Wathen Castanos Homes where she was a sales representative. But as she has done throughout her career, Catherine took on more responsibility. In addition to her sales duties, Catherine also provided support, mentoring, and training for the sales team. Prior to Wathen, Catherine was a sales associate with The Ryness Company, one of the largest new homes marketing organizations in the nation.

During her successful career, Catherine has centered her goals on team building and providing the best mentorship possible. A few of the helpful activities that have supported these efforts include taking on the role of Co-Chair of Programs and Education for the Women’s Council of Realtor’s Santa Cruz, becoming a certified Emergency Technician, and guest speaking to hundreds of local agents and brokers throughout the region. To support her standing in the real estate community, Catherine is a member of CAR, NAR and the local MLS board.

When not working in the office, you can catch Catherine gardening, wood working, cooking with her 12-year-old son or volunteering somewhere in the community.
