Clearview Group Hosts Firmwide Day of Service to Support Local Baltimore Community

More than one hundred employees volunteered their time and energy to support six unique non-profit organizations throughout the greater Baltimore area.

BALTIMORE, MD / ACCESSWIRE / June 7, 2024 / Clearview Group, a national management consulting and CPA firm headquartered in Owings Mills, hosted a Firmwide Day of Service on June 6, 2024, where more than one hundred employees volunteered their time and energy to support six unique non-profit organizations throughout the greater Baltimore area.

"As a firm, we have long been supportive of our employees' active involvement in the Baltimore community through volunteering and leadership activity with local non-profits," says Marla Hiken, Director of Human Resources at Clearview. "Although we have partnered with many organizations over the years, we thought it beneficial to bring the Clearview family together for a designated day of service where we can serve our local community as a team while building bonds with each other outside of the day-to-day grind."

Here are the six organizations Clearview Group partnered with for their Firmwide Day of Service.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels promotes independence and health by delivering nutritious meals to folks who are home-bound due to age, disability, or illness. Clearview volunteers packed meals to be delivered to residents in Baltimore City.

"I love volunteering, I do it regularly," said Neil Hall, Staff Consultant, State and Local Tax. "The fact that we can do it through work and get to know our coworkers while doing it is a great opportunity. It's been a lot of fun!"

"It seemed like a great opportunity that I wanted to be a part of," remarked Olivia Williams, Senior Consultant, Business Technology Solutions. "It's been fun getting work done with my coworkers in and outside the office - best of both worlds!"

"It's been a great opportunity to do something to give back to our community in Baltimore," reflected Alexis Howatt, Content Marketing Coordinator. "I've met several new people, including some of our new interns, and several of our out-of-town folks are here, so it's been great to see them and work together towards a common goal."

"The day of service reflects the true spirit of our Firm and our dedication to working together to make a positive impact," says Rob Stovall, Chief Operating Officer at Clearview Group.
