Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
In connection with a presentation by senior management of Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. (the "Company") relating to the Company’s results for the first quarter of 2007 at a teleconference and webcast held on May 8, 2007, the Company is disclosing certain information (the "1Q Results 2007 Presentation "). On May 7, 2007, the Company issued a press release publicly announcing that such teleconference and webcast would be held on May 8, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. E.T. and that during such teleconference and webcast senior management would present information regarding the Company’s results for the first quarter of 2007. The press release announced that access to the investor conference would be available to the public via the teleconference by calling 8866-356-3095 in the U.S., or 617-597-5391 outside of the U.S, and via the live webcast by visiting the Company’s website at www.eagleships.com
