As previously set forth in the report on Form 6-K furnished to the Commission on December 22, 2011, Korea Electric Power Corporation (“KEPCO”) originally planned to hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on January 10, 2012 for the nomination of a standing director. However, as KEPCO requires additional time to finalize the candidate for this position, it will postpone the shareholders’ meeting to a future date to be announced in a report on Form 6-K.

This amended report on Form 6-K replaces the reports on Form 6-K furnished to the Commission on December 22, 2011 in its entirety.
