(b) Effective February 29, 2008, Daniel Tempesta resigned as Teradyne, Inc.’s (“Teradyne’s”) Corporate Controller and principal accounting officer to become Vice President of Finance for another public company.
(c) Effective March 1, 2008, the Board of Directors of Teradyne appointed Gregory R. Beecher as principal accounting officer. Mr. Beecher will continue to serve as Teradyne’s Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and will receive no additional compensation for his service as principal accounting officer.
Information regarding Mr. Beecher’s prior business experience, age and compensation can be found in Teradyne’s prior public filings, including the Annual Report on Form 10-K for fiscal year ended December 31, 2007 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 28, 2008.
