Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
Dynegy Inc. (Dynegy) is participating in the RBC Capital Markets North American Energy Conference on Monday and Tuesday, June 5-6, in Boston, Massachusetts. Bruce A. Williamson, Dynegy’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will participate in a breakout session with analysts on Monday, June 5, 2006 starting at 1:30 pm Eastern time and a panel discussion on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 starting at 2:40 pm Eastern time.
Copies of the slides to be presented at the RBC Capital Markets North American Energy Conference are being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. The presentation slides contained in the exhibit include statements intended as “forward-looking statements,” which are subject to the cautionary statement about forward-looking statements set forth in such exhibit. Certain of the slides set forth in the Appendix to Exhibit 99.1 also contain non-GAAP financial information.
