On November 9, 2009, the Compensation Committee (the “Committee”) of the Board of Directors of Forest Oil Corporation (the “Company”) approved an amendment (the “First Amendment”) to the Forest Oil Corporation Executive Deferred Compensation Plan, as amended and restated effective as of December 1, 2008 (the “Plan”). The purpose of the First Amendment is solely to include technical changes necessary to recognize an amendment to the Company’s Retirement Savings Plan (the “401(k) Plan”) which now permits participants thereof to make contributions pursuant to Section 402(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
