Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On July 14, 2008, Huntsman Corporation provided to counsel for Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc. (“Hexion”) a public version of its amended answer and counterclaims (the “Amended Answer and Counterclaims”) to the amended and supplemental complaint that was previously filed by Hexion in the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware.  A copy of the public version of the Amended Answer and Counterclaims is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
