On February 26, 2004, Protein Design Labs, Inc. (“PDL” or the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2003 and for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2003. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
